organised by nature, rural by choice

My Story

Fields and Files was born from a simple idea that my knack for organisation and my love for rural life could come together to support others like me.

With over 20 years’ experience in agricultural administration, livestock coordination and compliance, I understand the real-world pressures rural businesses face because I live them too. As a farm business partner, I’ve balanced muddy boots with meeting minutes, school runs with stakeholder reports and seasonal shifts with steady support.

I’m qualified in transport management, animal welfare and export certification and I’ve built a strong foundation in finance, logistics and professional correspondence. But I also bring a creative edge -from branding and website content to social media strategy helping small businesses find their voice and stand out with confidence.

Fields and Files is more than a service. It’s a partnership shaped around your lifestyle, values and goals with a personable, reliable approach that’s rooted in community and built on trust.

My Mission

My mission is to empower rural and small business owners with efficient, personable and professional support across business administration, social media strategy and website creation. Through Fields and Files, I offer tailored services that free up your time, reduce stress and allow you to focus on what truly matters – growing your business and achieving your goals.

With over two decades of experience in agricultural administration, transport management, compliance and stakeholder engagement, I understand the unique pressures that come with running a rural enterprise. I’ve walked in those boots; balancing farm operations with formal documentation, creative branding with practical logistics and I bring that same balance to every client I support.

I believe that outsourcing admin isn’t just about delegation it’s about investing in clarity, confidence, capacity and a fresh set of eyes. Whether it’s refining your digital presence or streamlining your day-to-day operations, I’m here to help your business run smoothly, professionally and with heart.

My Why

As a farmers wife, business partner and working mum, I’ve known the feeling of being pulled in every direction – juggling compliance deadlines, livestock logistics, school runs and the quiet guilt of missing out on precious family moments.

After years of working across sectors from HGV operations to event coordination I realised that while I was helping businesses thrive, my own balance was slipping. I was stretched thin, missing milestones and running on empty.

Then came the turning point. I saw the potential of virtual assistant work not just as a career shift, but as a lifestyle change. It was the chance to blend my professional strengths with the flexibility I craved -to be present for my family, contribute meaningfully to rural enterprises and build something that felt truly mine.

Now, with Fields and Files, I’ve found that sweet spot. I get to support small businesses with the same dedication I’ve always had, but in a way that honours my values, my family and my roots.

When I’m not refining logos or writing compliance reports, you’ll find me soaking up time with my husband and children, tending to farm life or enjoying a quiet moment with a good book and a cup of coffee often with our dog by my side.
